Two quotations can show similar product names while covering very different scopes. A fair comparison converts every offer into the same technical and commercial checklist before price is evaluated.
Normalize the specification
Confirm brand or manufacturer, grade, dimensions, thickness, density where relevant, finish, colour, standards, quantity and unit. Separate confirmed information from assumptions and alternatives.
Include the complete system
Check accessories, framing, fasteners, sealants, trims, wastage, packing, transport, unloading, lifting equipment and installation. Missing interfaces often create later variations.
Review commercial conditions
Compare taxes, payment milestones, quotation validity, lead time, delivery location, storage responsibility, warranty and exclusions. Confirm whether quantities are fixed or subject to final measurement.
Record the decision
Keep the approved quotation, drawings, samples, product data and written clarifications together. A clear approval record reduces misunderstanding during procurement and installation.
