Rockwool
Rockwool is generally selected where higher density, strong acoustic absorption and robust fire performance are priorities. It is commonly used in partitions, facades, plant rooms and industrial applications.
Glasswool
Glasswool is lightweight and well suited to roof spaces, ceiling voids, wall cavities and HVAC applications. It is often preferred where easy handling and broad-area coverage are important.
Choose by system requirement
The correct choice depends on target thermal resistance, acoustic rating, fire requirement, thickness, density, moisture conditions and installation detail.
