• Intermediate channel: 4 nos. at Rs. 314 = Rs. 1,256.00
• Metal ceiling section: 4 nos. at Rs. 327 = Rs. 1,308.00
• Ceiling angle: 2 nos. at Rs. 109 = Rs. 218.00
• Jointing wall putty: 7 kg at Rs. 38 = Rs. 266.00
• Jointing tape, screws, and clips: Lump sum of Rs. 350

Total Material Cost:
Rs. 9,240.00 + 780.00 + 1,256.00 + 1,308.00 + 218.00 + 266.00 + 350.00 = Rs. 13,418.00

Labor and Additional Costs

• Worker’s Cost: Local rate is Rs. 15 per sq. ft.
  For 100 sq. ft.: 100 × Rs. 15 = Rs. 1,500.00
• Tools and Plant Cost: 3% of the worker’s rate per sq. ft. equals Rs. 0.45 per sq. ft.
  For 100 sq. ft.: 100 × Rs. 0.45 = Rs. 45.00

Subtotal (Materials + Labor + Tools):
Rs. 13,418.00 + Rs. 1,500.00 + Rs. 45.00 = Rs. 14,963.00

Contractor’s Overhead and Profit

• Overhead and Profit: 15% of the subtotal
  15% of Rs. 14,963.00 = Rs. 2,244.45

Total Cost for 100 sq. ft.:
Rs. 14,963.00 + Rs. 2,244.45 = Rs. 17,207.45

Final Cost Breakdown

• Cost per square foot: Rs. 17,207.45 / 100 = Rs. 172.07
• Cost per square meter: Rs. 172.07 × 10.76 ≈ Rs. 1,851.47
